Welded wire mesh is usually made of high-quality low-carbon steel wire as raw material.
The production process generally includes the following steps:
1. Wire rod unwinding: Unfold the rolled low-carbon steel wire rod.
2. Wire drawing: Use a wire drawing machine to pull the steel wire to the desired diameter.
3. Straightening and cutting: Straighten the steel wire and cut it according to the specified size.
4. Welding: Using resistance welding technology, intersecting steel wires are welded together at the contact points to form a grid shape.
5. Surface treatment: such as galvanizing, spraying, etc., to enhance its rust prevention, corrosion resistance and other properties.

Welded wire mesh has a wide range of application fields:
1. In the field of architecture: used for wall insulation, crack prevention, as well as building protective nets, fences, etc.
2. In the field of agriculture: making breeding fences, orchard protective nets, etc. to prevent poultry and livestock from escaping or being invaded by the outside world.
3. Industrial field: used as factory isolation nets, shelf nets, etc.
4. Transportation field: Used as a protective net for highways and railways to ensure traffic safety.
5. In the municipal field, it plays a role in the isolation and protection of public places such as parks and squares.
Welded wire mesh’s packing:
The common packaging methods for welded wire mesh are as follows:
1. Tray packaging: Stack the welding wire mesh neatly on the tray, and then wrap and fix it with plastic film or wrapping film. This method is convenient for loading, unloading, and transportation, and can effectively protect the welding wire mesh from damage during transportation.
2. Wooden crate packaging: For some special specifications or welding nets that require higher protection, wooden crates will be used for packaging. Cushioning materials, such as foam board and air cushion, will be added inside the wooden box to reduce the impact of collision and vibration on the welded mesh.
3. Bundle packaging: Use steel strips or wires to bundle the welded mesh into rolls or bundles. This method is simple and direct, but for long-distance transportation and complex environments, the protective effect is relatively weak.
4. Carton packaging: Suitable for small batches and specifications of welded mesh products. A partition or cushion layer may be added inside the cardboard box to prevent the welded mesh from rubbing and scratching against each other.
The packaging method for welding mesh usually takes into account factors such as product specifications, quantity, transportation distance, transportation method, and customer’s special requirements.
